When should you take semaglutide?

Injectable semaglutide (Ozempic and Wegovy) is a once-weekly injection, and the reassuring answer is that there is no medically required time of day. You can inject it in the morning, evening, or any time that suits you, and with or without food. Because it stays in the body a long time and works over the whole week, the exact hour does not change how well it works. So the "best" time is really the time you will remember and stick to.

Consistency beats the clock

What matters far more than the specific hour is taking it on the same day each week. Picking a reliable day, and an anchor for it (a particular morning routine, or a reminder), is what keeps your levels steady and your habit intact.
