About DoseLog

Who we are, and how we write about GLP-1s

DoseLog is a calm companion app for any GLP-1 routine, and this library of 54 guides and 73 articles is the education that sits beside it. Because these are medications and this is health information, how we write it matters as much as what we write. Here is our standard.

Who writes this

Every guide and article is written and edited by the DoseLog editorial team: writers and editors who specialize in plain-language health education about GLP-1 medications. Our job is to translate dense prescribing information and clinical trial data into something a real person on a real medication can actually use, without hype and without fear-mongering.

All content is original to DoseLog. We do not reproduce or lightly reword other sites. Where topics overlap with what everyone writes about, we aim to be clearer, more honest about uncertainty, and more useful about what you actually do next.

How we source it

  • Primary sources first: FDA-approved prescribing information (drug labels) and peer-reviewed clinical trials (STEP, SURMOUNT, SURPASS, SUSTAIN, SELECT, and others named in each guide's sources).
  • Medical figures are presented as general educational ranges, not exact promises, because individual response varies widely.
  • Every guide lists the sources it draws on and the date its sources were last verified, so you can see the evidence behind it.
  • Emerging and investigational drugs are labeled clearly as not-yet-approved, with the trial stage stated, so trial data is never mistaken for established fact.

How we keep it current

GLP-1 medicine moves fast: new drugs, new trials, new label changes. Each guide carries an “updated” date and a separate “sources verified” date, and we revise content as the evidence changes rather than letting it drift out of date silently.

Medical disclaimer

DoseLog is a tracking and reflection tool and an education resource. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed clinician. Nothing here accounts for your personal medical history, other medications, or individual situation. Do not start, stop, or change the dose of any medication based on what you read here. Decisions about your treatment belong with your prescriber or pharmacist. If you think you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.

Independence and naming

DoseLog is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any pharmaceutical manufacturer. Drug and brand names are used factually under nominative fair use to describe the medications people actually take. DoseLog is medication-agnostic: it works the same whether your prescription is branded or compounded, a weekly shot or a daily pill.
