This Privacy Policy explains how IKA Studios ("IKA Studios", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the DoseLog: GLP-1 Tracker mobile application ("DoseLog" or the "App"), our website at https://doselogapp.com (the "Website"), and any related features, support channels, or communications (together, the "Services").
DoseLog is a wellness and medication-tracking tool. It helps you log GLP-1 medication doses, meals, protein and macro intake, hydration, body weight, and related habits. DoseLog is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Please read this Policy together with our Terms of Use.
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. Where applicable law requires your consent (for example, to process health data), we will ask for it separately inside the App, and you can withdraw it at any time.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When changes are material, we will notify you in the App or by other reasonable means before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
Account information. You can sign in with Apple or Google, or use DoseLog without an account. If you sign in, we collect a unique account identifier and, where the provider shares it, your email address. You may use a display name or pseudonym. If you choose not to sign in, you use DoseLog in local-only mode (see Section 6).
Health and wellness data. To deliver the core tracking features, we process information you enter, which may include:
- GLP-1 medication logs (drug, dose, route such as injection or oral, schedule, and timing)
- Reported side effects and symptoms
- Body metrics such as height, weight, and BMI
- Sex and year of birth
- Activity level and goals (for example a protein-first or muscle-preservation goal)
- Food and nutrition entries, including items scanned by barcode or recognized from a meal photo
- Hydration and other habit logs
- Dietary preferences and restrictions
Some of this is sensitive health data under laws such as the GDPR and similar regimes. We process it on the basis of your explicit consent, which we request in the App before you use the relevant features. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 8).
Content you submit. Text notes and any other material you enter ("Submitted Content"), along with the outputs we generate from it (for example nutrition estimates, macro breakdowns, and trend summaries).
Support and feedback. If you contact us, we collect your message, your email address, and any information you choose to include.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: how you interact with features, screen views, settings, and event timestamps
- Device and technical data: device type and model, operating system, App version, language, IP address, crash logs, and performance data
- Approximate location: country, region, or time zone, derived from technical signals such as IP address and device settings. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Camera input: when you use barcode scanning or meal-photo logging, the App accesses the camera to read the barcode or capture the meal image for nutrition recognition. Meal images are processed to identify the food and are not stored by us or uploaded to our servers for retention.
2.3 Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you connect Apple Health, we request read-only access only to the specific data types you authorize, which may include active energy, dietary energy, height, weight, BMI, steps, distance, and heart rate. We use HealthKit data only to power your tracking and insights inside DoseLog. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or profiling, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide core functionality or to comply with the law. You can revoke access at any time in Apple Health settings, and we will stop reading HealthKit data immediately.
2.4 Information from third parties
- App Store and payments: Apple processes your subscription purchases. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple provides us with limited transaction and subscription records (such as order identifier, subscription type, and status) so we can activate your paid features.
- Food data providers: to look up nutrition information, a barcode identifier or search term may be sent to a food database provider to return matching results.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information for the following purposes and legal bases:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health or medication data to serve you advertising.
4. AI processing
Some features use AI services. When you use them, the relevant Submitted Content (such as a meal photo or text entry) is sent over an encrypted connection to a third-party AI provider for processing, and is used only to return the result to you.
DoseLog uses third-party AI providers to perform meal-photo recognition and nutrition analysis. Meal images sent for recognition are processed to identify food items and are not stored by us. We configure these integrations so that, where supported, providers do not use your content to train their own foundation models.

5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed to run the Services:
- Service providers that host, secure, analyze, or support the App, acting on our instructions under a data processing agreement.
- Apple, for payments, refunds, and subscription management.
- Group companies or successors, in connection with internal operations or a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, consistent with this Policy.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
6. Storage, security, and retention
When you sign in, your account data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure operated by our hosting providers. If you do not sign in, DoseLog runs in local-only mode: your data stays on your device, is not uploaded to our servers, and is not synced to your other devices. If your device is lost, reset, or the App is removed in local-only mode, that data cannot be recovered by us.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, for the life of your account, or as required by law (for example, tax or accounting rules). When data is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymize it. If you delete specific logs or your account, related insights and trends are updated or removed accordingly.
7. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and data processing agreements to keep it protected consistent with this Policy.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to receive a portable copy of your data.
- In-App controls: you can edit or delete individual logs and manage notification and permission settings at any time. If you are signed in, you can delete your account in settings. In local-only mode, you can erase your data by deleting the App from your device.
- Permissions: you control camera and Apple Health access through your device settings. Revoking a permission stops the related collection.
- Withdrawing consent: withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place, and may limit your ability to use certain features.
- Requests: to exercise your rights, contact doselog@ikastudios.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within 30 days). You will not be treated unfairly for exercising your rights.
For data held only on your device in local-only mode, we cannot access, export, or delete it on your behalf; you manage it directly in the App.
Refund consumption data: if you request an App Store refund, Apple may collect usage information to assess the request. That data is controlled by Apple; you can contact Apple at https://privacy.apple.com.
9. Children's privacy
DoseLog is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at doselog@ikastudios.com and we will delete it as required by law.
10. Cookies and tracking technologies
The App and Website may use analytics technologies (such as mobile identifiers and SDKs) to understand usage and improve performance. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before enabling non-essential tracking, and you can withdraw it in your device or App settings.
11. Notice for Türkiye (KVKK)
IKA Studios is established in Türkiye and processes personal data in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"). As a data subject under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about the processing, to request correction or deletion, and to object to outcomes resulting from automated processing, among other rights.
